"I think I can... I think I can"

I can't believe I am saying this, but for the VERY FIRST TIME I am NOT jumping for joy to be leaving for vacation!!!!!  If you would have asked me two months ago (when we booked our trip), I would have said, "I really need this vacation and it's going to be a great time!  Luke and I will be able to relax, catch up on sleep, take some time for ourselves and just enjoy each other."

Well, not so much anymore.  We leave for our Mexican vacation tomorrow and I woke up this morning in a panic!  I can't believe we are leaving our little man!!!!  Mind you, he will be with my parents for the next week and you KNOW he is going to be SO loved, spoiled and in the BEST care possible, but he still won't be with ME!

So, what shall a mommy do?  Well, the famous phrase, "I think I can, I think I can" will be on repeat in my head for the next week, an occasional Skype and of course many pictures to stare at will be my will power!

Mom and Dad, Luke and I can't say THANK YOU enough for taking care of Jameson!  We know he will be so spoiled the next week (and probably won't want to come home!) and in the arms of the BEST Grandparents in the world!  Enjoy your week with Baby J!

Jameson - Mommy and Daddy LOVE YOU SO MUCH and will miss you more than you could ever imagine!  We will see you next Saturday and we hope you enjoy your week with Nana and Grandpa.  Mommy will be excited to give you endless kisses when she gets back.

Ok, so... here... we... go... I THINK I CAN... I THINK I CAN!  (not to mention, the thought of the warm weather does sound fantastic!)

Here's to a great week with my amazing husband, our baby boy with his wonderful grandparents, safe travels, and a very refreshed set of parents one week from tomorrow!
