Ok, so the weather (once again) threw me a curve ball last weekend and all our plans had to be cancelled. With that said, I was pretty sad, but I decided to go outside of my comfort zone and try a CRAFT project for my "putty poor Abby party" instead of retail therapy!
So... Once Jameson was born, I had all the right intentions to get his name on the wall over his crib. Well with all the craziness that took place after he was born, I never got around to it. So nine months later the letters are done! (and on the wall!)
I have to admit, I am truly the least crafty person in the world, but I have all the best intentions :-) (and put a lot of effort into what I am doing). I also have to say, spray paint and I DO NOT go well together! (oh if only there was a hidden camera during this adventure - let's just say I had NO idea spray paint did NOT wash off hands)
The letters were very cute white, but I wanted them brown to match J's room. I had painted the nursery back at our old house a brown color and actually wanted the letters white, but since we can't paint the walls while we are in our rental, color is a MUST anytime/any place we can add it!.
So, here is the progress of my "craft" (I thought this would be a one day project... Oh yes, 4 days later, the letters were done!!! Again, NOT a crafty person at all!!)
Although there are MANY imperfections, I really like the way they turned out.
