Crazy-Fun
Oh yes, the definition of our Labor Day Weekend!
Luke, Jameson and I spent the entire weekend back in Wisconsin! One of my girlfriends was getting married on Sunday, so we decided to take advantage of the long weekend and head back a little early.
And when I say long weekend, we actually left for Ona on Wednesday evening and didn't return to Sioux Falls until Monday evening. It felt really nice to enjoy our time back home!
Naturally we thought leaving Wednesday evening would mean a nice long nap for Jameson being as though the sun would be going down and it would be dark the majority of the ride home... Once again (I am not sure why we keep thinking this) Mr. Man decided to stay awake pretty much the entire ride! I would have to say he finally fell asleep about 45 minutes out from Ona! Oh well, what can you do :-)
Thursday was our family day. Nana and Grandpa had to work, so Luke, J and I had to fend for ourselves. I took advantage of morning nap time and snuck away to get my hair colored (THANKS MATT!) After my hair looked perfect and J got a good rest in, the three of us took off to visit Nana at school, enjoyed ice cream at the Pearl (oh yes, Blue Moon to be exact! mmmmm) and bummed around La Crosse for a while.
MMMM Blue Moon Ice Cream!

Thursday night was party night for Mommy and Nana! We had tickets to see Toby Keith and Kellie Pickler at Ft. McCoy! Oh yes, the concert groupies were back in action!
My mom made 10 of these for everyone in our group!
Meg decorated each one with our names!
LOVE THEM :-)

The concert was AMAZING (as always) and the perfect way to ring in my 29th birthday!
That's correct, Friday was birthday celebration! It was MY DAY! (haha thank you Luke, J, mom and dad for making the entire day about ME!) Our morning started out right with a great work out! And then we quickly followed up the work out with cake and ice cream for breakfast!
Unfortunately, Jameson was not feeling the greatest (he was "lucky enough" to come down with a nasty cold!) but I still wanted to make sure we got some time in with my grandma, so we headed up to visit Great-Grandma Marson before heading out to lunch.

As you can tell, it didn't go so well...
At least Luke and I were able to get a good one
of the two of us.
It was then time to for me to meet up with the bride-to-be and head down to the wedding location to "check things out" before the big day! (blog to come with details and pics of the wedding festivities)
Friday evening we spent RELAXING! We had BIG plans to head to dinner, hang out... you know... complete the birthday celebration... BUT... I was done... I wanted to relax, put on comfy clothes and sit down. And that is exactly what we did! I knew the remainder of the weekend was going to be super busy, so I wanted to take advantage of the evening to spend some quality time with J and the rest of my fam.
Thank you to everyone that sent birthday wishes! My 29th birthday was absolultly perfect!
Such a great start to such a perfect weekend!
