If you were unable to see my Facebook post from yesterday, here is what it said:
"It's never a good sign when the person cutting your child's hair apologizes for her work... I just keep telling myself "it's just hair.. it will grow back" Poor J!"
Oh yes, a "botched job" is exactly what came about of our hair cut experience yesterday. Now, I TOTALLY understand it is not an easy task to cut a toddler's hair, but I also understand that if you are going to be a stylist for children, you have to be a little patient.
Mistake #1: instantly the stylist was annoyed that Jameson wouldn't sit in the chair by himself...
**Note to self, next time the person cutting my child's hair is annoyed right from the start, get up and leave!**
Anyways, let's just say that by the end of the appointment, not only was J cranky and annoyed, mommy was trying to figure out who was going to fix the mess that was just created...
(I got some messages from friends and family to take him back and have them fix it, but let's be honest, the last person I wanted fixing his hair was the same person that screwed it up! haha)
What to do?? What to do??
I ran Jameson to the salon Luke gets his hair cut at and they had a waiting list a mile long (we all know waiting with a toddler just doesn't work)
So, enter my husband and his so-called barber skills!
Well, I have to admit, he did a GREAT job and came to the rescue last night!!
ALL BETTER! Don't get me wrong, it's not perfect by any means, but it is 1000% better than it was after the morning mayhem!
GREAT JOB LUKE!!
Not too bad from the front
Oh yes, you are seeing that correctly...
She SHAVED his hairline to his ears,
cut an uneven line
and to top it off, shaved off his (mini) sideburns
All I can do it laugh at this picture...
REALLY? She thought this was acceptable
YAY Daddy!
So much better!!
You can still slightly see the crooked line, but it's
beyond better!
Poor Mr. Jameson! At least its something we can laugh about and hair grows back
